01OUR STORY

From a local buying house to a full supply chain.

Sourcing, commodity trading, freight and local content, run from six offices in Mozambique and a network across four continents.

AfriGrown has served the industrial sector since 2008. What began as sourcing support for local projects has grown into a full supply chain operation: strategic procurement, commodity trading and offtake, freight and logistics, and local content management, run from six offices across Mozambique and a wider network that includes South Africa, the DRC, Angola, Portugal, Canada, Chile, Australia and China.

The scope of the work has grown; the standard hasn’t changed, and it is now certified: AfriGrown operates an ISO 9001 certified quality management system across procurement, trading and logistics. From an early consignment of construction materials to today’s multi-tonne commodity shipments and LNG-corridor project support, the aim has stayed the same: get clients what they need, where they need it, with one team accountable for the outcome.
